Lockdown The Third

From Monday the 4th January we are once again closed. We have no way of knowing when the current restrictions will be lifted but hopefully it won’t be too long.

If you have a session booked you should have had an email with your options. If it doesn’t show up please get in touch through info@thehouseskatepark.co.uk or DM.

New tier 4 restrictions

Today the Government announced that more areas of England are moving into Tier 4.

People in Tier 4 are being told to stay local to reduce the risk of the virus spreading.

As Sheffield is in Tier 3 The House is open, but we are asking customers from Tier 4 areas not to visit us while under these new restrictions.

If you have already booked a session please get in touch asap at rob@thehouseskatepark.co.uk . We will refund you, or hold your session over until the current situation improves.

Asking customers not to come down isn’t something we like doing it. But we need to keep everyone safe and appreciate your support.

Reopening and Christmas Holiday Hours

We are back open on Wednesday 2nd December and online booking for sessions and lessons can be made through the site.

We will still be running to our COVID secure rules, if you scroll down you’ll see them posted below.

From Monday 21st we will be open extra hours for the holidays with the exception on Christmas Eve which we only open 12 - 4, Christmas Day which we are closed, New Years Eve 12 - 4 and New Years Day which we are closed.

We’ve been busy while we’ve been shut so you’ll have a few new bits to ride and loads of great new stuff in the shop.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you all again and hopefully this time we get to stay open.

National lockdown update

We have been asked to close from Wednesday 4th Nov. We will hopefully be back open early December and will announce it as soon as we know.

The shop will still be open on a collect only basis. Please get in touch via email or our social media channels if you need anything.

Stay safe and we’ll see you soon.

Sheffield region tier 3 update

We’ve now had a chance to study and digest what Sheffield’s tier 3 rating means to us.

As a leisure business, no extra restrictions are being placed on us above the ones that we’re already following. This means we’re staying open and running things in much the same way we have been since we reopened in July.

Customers must still pre-book online. All the now-standard rules about maintaining social distancing, good hygiene practices, face coverings in the shop, and no mixing between households will be strictly enforced. You know how it works so please play nice, because we really hate having to tell people off.

The advice on travel in and out of tier 3 areas is not to unless it’s really necessary. We won’t be refusing entry to people from outside the Sheffield city region, but you might want to consider this before you book.

Anyone who has already booked and now feels they don’t want to come because of the new local restrictions, please get in touch via email or DM for a refund or credit to be used at a later date.

Finally thanks to all of you for helping us stay open and safe during some very trying times.
